I had high hopes for this spot but unfortunately it just fell short in terms of the food. Good things first: it wasn’t crowded... and we had no problem getting a table for brunch on a Saturday. The Bloody Mary was actually solid— tasted strongly of picklebut not in a bad way. They do their own house mix and it wasn’t overwhelming. The food, however, was not very good. Mypartners food (scramble with fried oysters) came out cold. Not sure what happened there but bottom line wasn’t okay. Mychicken and waffles arrived and I must say I’ve never seen chicken wings be the chicken of chicken and waffles. Sodisappointing, especially since the breading was also not flavorful and not crispy at all. They were also served whole whichmade eating them a bit more difficult than you really want. The potatoes were okay, at least edible. Same with the andouillesausage. Overall do not recommend the food and hope the pictures help! Read more
Physically beautiful. It was nice having outdoor dining options (on the street or in the back) but to be honest, the food was... mid. We came for dollar oysters, and I think this place made me realize I’m good on dollar oysters forever. The quality justwasn’t great but what did I expect? Then, unfortunately, the tacos were whack. The only good thing we had were fries and weonly got about 12 in the whole order. Probably won’t be back for food. But maybe for a drink if I’m in the area. Read more
Nice relaxing place to eat. The calamari was excellent, I wish the salmon was moist, a little dry. However the mashed potatoes... and greens was good with a little salt. Service was nice and friendly, not as attentive as my cousin and I would have liked. Shewas serving and making drinks, I guess she didn't have enough time. Hard to see from the street, but this is an excellent restaurant and bar run by Zia and team. Well-designed seasonal cocktails,... great burgers, creative entrees, and good vegetarian options. Breakfast tacos are amazing for brunch! Great ambiance and phenomenal cocktails! French harvest and the blood orange gimlet are... my go to! But they have a wide range of both food and bev that accommodates all taste buds! Will return and kick it with youguys any time! Read more
