Always enjoy getting boba drinks and smoothies every time I'm in the area.
Please be aware that if you are not Chinese you will not be able to buy mocha smoothie from T- bar at 4823 8th Ave ( corner with... 60th st). Guess it is a form of PREJUDICE. I use this smoothie to treat my severe migraine headaches. They do sell this item toold customers but Chinese. I do not fit the bill. I am white. I guess prejudice still has an existence. This is the T Baar location I visit often. It is a small corner store. The girls there are actually nice & polite!! My usual is... the lychee green tea. So refreshing! I first tried T Baar because of their $1.75 bubbletea. I actually like their bubbletea.Very decent tea flavor and not too sweet. The pearls are nice and soft too. But the price has gone up to $2. That's still agreat deal for milk tea. I also tried their smoothies, but didn't like them as much. I'll just stick with their green teaofferings. Try the lychee green tea!!! Grab and go with your boba at this tea counter. The lychee slush is good and be sure to show your student ID. There are usually... a few people waiting so it can sometimes take about five minutes. There's a bunch of cute little shops around so take a walk andsee what's there. It's also a nice stop on the way to the Chinese grocery store. Read more
