The term "Off the Hook" clearly describes the food of "Taste of Heaven", the husband and wife team (Melody and Tony) make... absolutely delicious food. My wife had ribs, mac and cheese, collared greens and fried shrimp, she said her food was totallydelicious, I had fried chicken, mac and cheese, collared greens and cornbread (the cornbread was insanely good), my food wasincredible, we definitely plan on returning (very soon and real soon), God willing. I can say with confidence that this is the best soul food in all of NYC and the best I?ve personally ever had. The proteins were... treated with love, perfectly tender and juicy. We loved the mac and cheese, barbecue ribs (ask for extra sauce), cornbread, andthe jerk chicken. The owners of the restaurant were charming and friendly.
