Great little nook to stop by during day time as well. Friendly bartender and server. Bring your book, your work and spend time... people watching from the outdoor seats - great summer days. Tarachi is so, so good! I grew up in California and Central Mexico and was hyped to see they opened up nearby in Clinton Hill?so... difficult to find food that reminds me of home in this neighborhood and their burrito always hits the spot. Also they opened abusiness during a pandemic (!!!) and I imagine times have been tight. Regardless, still the type of establishment that randomlygave me a free Jarritos when I ended up waiting a minute or two longer then was noted over the phone! Such good service, lovelystaff and most importantly very good food. I truly hope they stick around so the neighborhood keeps the much needed qualityMexican food. Read more
I was excited to try this place. However, when I ordered food for pickup and arrived about 10 minutes before it said it would be... ready there was no way to enquire about pickup orders. So I had to wait in line for 30+ minutes. This mean that my food wassoggy and cold by the time I got it. This was additionally disappointing since I eat out much less than I used to for financialand health reasons. Also, our drinks were made in advance and quite watered down. Y?all have a frozen margarita machine, theycould have been made in 2 seconds when I arrived - especially since there is no way to alert someone about a pickuporder. Lastly, there were people waiting (presumably for their food) at the bar sipping drinks. While they had masks on, itwould have been nice if the indoor place to wait was not where all the customers had to approach to interact with the staff. Iwas for sure within 6 feet of the other patrons sitting at the bar when I was gestured over to ask for my order. Had the pleasure to dine in before the covid madness. My husband and I shared a fairly big meal. I had a chicken fajita, my... husband had the pescado al mojo de ajo and we shared a guacamole w/chips. We both had 2 drinks each. Food was amazing, drinkstasty, staff was friendly and the ambiance was beautiful. We also have ordered delivery (stuck to the normal tacos, burritosand such) and food has been on point with fast delivery. Read more
