I convinced my boyfriend to go on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised by their live music. Most importantly the food... had fantastic! AMAZING is the only word to describe our Saturday evening at Tambour. Even with some challenges the hostess and the owner made... us feel at ease and well cared for… a welcome gesture after coming into Brooklyn from Utah. The vibe here is relaxed andcomfortable. The Salmon and Hanger Steak were as good as we have ever had at any price. The music was chill and we enjoyed everyminute. Would recommend this south slope hidden gem to anyone! A+ Read more

Nice and intimate place to have dinner with a date or friends. It has a bar and outside seating with heat lamps. I enjoyed the... menu very much.The white wine I enjoyed was neither sweet nor dry but a very subtle taste; The staff did a great job in makingsure we had a great experience. Hidden gem here for sure Loved finding this place with a friend. Came in looking for quick cocktails but chef Adam and owners... Eric and Nick persuaded us to try a few dishes and let me tell you, this is our new after work joint. Definitely yourneighborhood place with a dose of delicious food! The Live music is wonderful, atmosphere and service are great. Menu is for an acquired palate that's all I'm going to say(lol),... however there are a couple of items that everyone can easily enjoy. If you get the Mussels ask for the Hot Sauce! It makes themeverything!! Read more
