I stopped by today because I wanted to try something new and this place is truly something else. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki... Platter and it came out fresh, juicy and delicious. If you are brand new to Greek food, this is a fine, okay spot to start. If you?re expecting authentic, keep searching. The pros... up front: the staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Felt covid safe. We decided to come here as it was close to anappointment and I?d remembered it from a viral FB video a few years ago spotlighting their mile high pastitsio. Our firstdisappointment (my fault for not checking) was finding out they only serve that on Friday nights. When we arrived and ordered,I immediately knew we were in for a wild ride. Not a single staff member was Greek and the radio in the restaurant was allSpanish. No bouzoukia here :/ When I ordered a gyro and spanakopita, the cashier repeated it back to me ?gy-ro? and ?spinachpie? ???? The spanakopita was served ice cold. When I took it back to the front, they were polite but literally just reheatedthe same piece. When it was returned back, it was barely luke warm. We ate it because at that point we were starving and weren?twilling to keep having the same piece of food microwaved to death. For $8.95 it could and should have been much better. Iordered the beef/lamb gyro platter and upgraded to Greek fries. My husband got the pork gyro platter with rice. The pita andtzatziki served with the platters were good. The rice was good. The salad served with the platters was good, and came with asurprise dolma. The gyro meat on both plates were once again luke warm. I?m not sure how this is possible since the spit isvisibly turning against heat. The flavor and texture was.. okay. I cannot see us returning here, ever.
