This place lived up to the hype! I went during an ?off? time, around 2:30pm on a Saturday and only had to wait in line for like... 10 minutes. I got the One Night Stand which came with really amazing seasoned crinkle fries and I got a side of the blackberrymayo (!?) for dipping. Since it was probably the last warm day for a long time I also got a slushy, would recommend. We took ourfood over to Fort Greene park (~2 blocks away) and ate there which was very pleasant. It?s a little pricey if you?re comparingto regular fast food, but pretty on par with other vegan burger places in the area and the quality is definitely there. Really prepared to love this, but overall just an OK food experience. The employees are awesome and the mission and vibe is... great, but for ~$20 the burger and fries just don't feel worth it. Great sauces, but the patty and the fries both seem a bitrun-of-the-mill for this price point. It also continues to irk me that the branding hype is around "eat plants", a slogan Iwholeheartedly support, but there are no discernible plants on the menu unless you count French fries or soy protein (ok fine,lettuce too I guess). Still hope they continue to find success, but personally not in a rush to go back. Read more
My anticipation to come here was greater than my experience. Yes, the employees are full of energy!! I live about 2 hrs away and... studied what I wanted off the menu. To then wait in line for an hour to find out there is a limited menu for the day. So Iordered the bacon burger which I could get locally. There was a mix up with my fries, didn?t get sweet potatoes. The food wasgood I?ll say that. Be prepared to wait online, take the food to go, and finding parking is hard. But I won?t travel that faragain, if I?m in the area for something else maybe. Read more
Taste just as good as the ATL location. Go within a couple hours from when they open on a weekday afternoon & the wait isn?t... bad. Nice eating a burger and not feeling completely depleted afterwards. Read more
Did not have time to take a picture of the food, but it was good! The one night stand was delicious! Was not a fan of the... chick'n head, but it was alright. The fries were too salty, but that did not bother me. The happy ending was diabetes in a cup!Haha. I did not expect it to be that sweet. Take small bites! Other than the food, the atmosphere was a vibe! The customerservice was through the roof! It was busy when I arrived, but I know that means this place is the hype! I will make sure to buymerchandise and order their lemomdade next time I come here! There is a lenghty wait for your order, but that is expected at anyrestaurant you go to! This was a highly anticipated restaurant I really wanted to try ever since I saw it on social media, and the hype surrounding... it. Number 1. Be prepared to wait there's a line. 2) Didn't even have the full menu at this location. 3) WAY OVERPRICED! 4) Theburger was underwhelming but the sauce was good ( I had the One night stand burger). 5) The fries were extremely salty! I was afraid of the lines so I ordered ahead via uber eats. I took it home and had the most amazing vegan burger I ever had!... Definitely can't wait until the new location opens in Harlem! I have to say even the banana pudding was good! Read more
