Went here for my daughter's high School graduation, and they showed up and showed out!! Everyone is family-oriented absolutely... beautiful positive atmosphere great food I could not stop eating. Wait staff is awesome! It was the best ending to a great day.We met some wonderful people there. My sister passed away and it's been an awful time for my family. Literally everything felt like a challenge except when our... funeral director Anthony from McManus suggested Salvi's for the Repast (luncheon) after my sister's funeral. Everything was veryearly so we were looking for a location that would allow us in at 11:00 a.m. Every other location we looked at was eitherinsanely expensive or wouldn't open until 2:00 p.m. Clearly that wasn't an option for us. From the moment I walked into therestaurant to get prices, a menu, etc. Salvi's staff was compassionate, sympathetic, understanding & incredibly flexible. Icould only give them a ballpark number of 20 potential diners. I was supposed to call them when we were on our way over but dueto the stress of the morning I completely forgot. When I showed up with nearly double the amount I had initially told them (35)Not once did the staff seem irritated or put out by the new number of customers. They just rearranged some extra tables in aflash and our entire party was seated & eating their DELICIOUS food that kept coming & coming & coming in what felt like no timeat all!! I purchased package #3 ($55.00 per person) & some of the items were served family style with way more than I everexpected. Every plate served was overflowing & never empty once. A majority of our guests were Italian & they were allincredibly impressed, as was I. It's been an emotional and exhausting time for my entire family, but Salvi's gave us a place togather & celebrate my sister's life and give my family precious time to spend together sharing stories and simply enjoying eachother's company after an extremely draining morning. I can't thank them ALL enough for the amazing food & their genuinelygenerous souls. God bless every kind, attentive individual in Salvi's employ, especially those who worked on Saturday, May11th. Salvi is another in the fine tradition of Italian restaurants in Brooklyn. The number of menu selections is just right, not... overcrowded. This would indicate proper attention to the preparation of each dish, and it certainly shows in the tasting. Thelocation is convenient, the place clean and accommodating. Read more
This restaurant is my go to lately. From the beginning we were welcomed by the owner and asked for our vaccination... card.????????I was so relieved to see them doing that because not everyone is checking. ????. Our waiter was friendly, attentiveand even made some Jokes. ! The food , what can I say about the food. The food was incredible !!! Drinks were good , NOTwatered down.
