I really use to enjoy going to this place every so often, because the prices were great and it's convenient, it's walking... distance from my home. But now they are starting to overcharge the customers, and they have become money greedy. I went theretoday and 1 of the ladies in the front charged me $9 for a small lunch. I understand I got a vegetable, but it was only supposedto be $1 more. When I called to address it, they hung up the phone on me. Not acceptable, and I will NOT be spending anymoremoney with them. I am beyond disgusted and will never patronize this business again. I ordered a significant amount of food today and once I was... done with my errands, I anticipated going home and enjoying the meal with my children. We sat down and began to eat my meal andas I got down to the bottom of my container, I noticed a horsefly cooked into my food. Disgusted, I immediately ran to thebathroom and forced myself to regurgitate what I had already consumed. I grabbed the container and returned to the restaurant. Ipointed out the fly in my food and expressed how upset I was and that it was unacceptable. They began to speak in Spanish andacted as if they didn?t understand what I was saying to them. I asked what is going to be done and they stared at me as if Iweren?t speaking at all. Once I saw I wasn?t going to get a refund, I left the establishment. This is absolutely ridiculous! Read more
Delicious food. Good prices. Their garlic sauce is so flavorful and delicious! Busy during lunch time. I always get the yellow... rice and peas, beans in the red sauce, roasted pork, and plantains. Their baked ziti is so flavorful too! Read more
Delicious Dominican food in Brooklyn. A variety of options and delicious take out. Good portions and good price.
