We came here for an early lunch after a stroll along the beach. We thought the decor was pretty cool and the old time photos of... the area during summer was crazy! We both ended up having chicken tenders and fries (didn?t like the fries that much) althoughthe chicken tenders were nice and crispy! Quite possibly the worst cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. Completely bland beef, no salt, buns weren't toasted, and the... cheese was cold. The only thing on it was a single piece of lettuce. The funnel cake is the only reason we stopped by this placeand even that was bad. The dough was stiff as a rock and there was a diabetes-inducing amount of powered sugar. I know its notmeant to be a healthy food but you don't need to dump the entire bag onto it. Read more

I visit the boardwalk quite frequently in the summer time. I wanted to try something other than Nathan's so I tried Ruby's. Big... mistake everything tasted off. The chicken tenders didn't look like chicken. The burger was bland,2 pieces of lettuce. Thesausage sandwich was another story. All in all I won't be visiting this spot anymore. Used to be great. But declined. Lots of regulars go less or not at all. A couple where guy wore a Hawaiian shirt always now... stopped going and many others too. A small few clique toxic regulars driving all good regulars and non-regulars away. I won't begoing back! Read more

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. The two older gentleman working the bar were quite polite, and did a great job pouring drinks.... They would have improved addressing customers as they came in and waited in line but I am empathetic because that place getsquite busy. I caught the subway from Manhattan to Coney Island just for a corn dog and a beer and Rudy?s did not disappoint.Great selection and good old American food Read more

Definitely recommend Great food, friendly staff and a clean restaurant. I can see why they?ve existed for so long.

Average food, visited for historic ambiance. I was traveling with a teenager so of course the cheesy fries and fried chicken... tenders were more his stead. They do have a functional juke box that I absolutely loved. Read more
