Hole in the wall pizza spot that is my favorite in all of NYC so far for their take on thin crust NY style slices. Their vodka... slice, margherita slice and grandma slice are my favorites. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone trying to try pizzain NYC. Not very well known as of yet beyond their own area so it is made with quality and not with haste as many of the wellknown tourist trap pizza shops have fallen into. If you come, you cannot leave without trying their garlic knot pinwheelsstuffed with mozzarella cheese and baked to crispy buttery perfection. The owner and all the workers there are really nice andhave even given me free slices towards the end of the night. They are a neighborhood gem and I hope they are here to stay for along time! I've been a native new yorker for 31 years and hole in the wall gems like this keep the spirit of nyc alive! This became our go-to for pizza after Evil Olive?s closed in 2020 due to Covid and we feel SO thrilled and lucky as it?s beyond... what we were hoping for in a neighborhood pizza delivery spot. We almost always get the upside-down Sicilian pepperoni squarepie. Today I stopped by in person for a slice for the first time and tried a vodka slice and it was heavenly. To my surprise it came like a pizza soup. Lol nojoke. It was a square pie with almost no cheese put on top of crust then a ton and I mean a ton of sauce thrown on top. Therewas so much sauce it pooled in the middle of the pie and the toppings traveled with it. The mushrooms were good if they weren'tsoggy they would have been better. The other pie was a pepperoni pizza. I have to say it was basic and ok. A little undercookedbut not to bad. Ordered garlic knots apparently they are garlic pinwheels wich was the highlight of the meal. They were quitegood. Overall this order 2 pies 2 order of garlic knots cost me 85.00 3 slices of Sicilian was eaten and the rest will bedonated to hungry neighbors who will eat anything. Some of the best pizza I?ve had in Brooklyn. Rome to BK has been a favorite of mine. Always fresh and always crispy. The Buffalo... chicken slice is the best I?ve ever had. No question.
