The concierge did not think I was there to eat. She said I can look around if I wanted to. My waitress was young, and pleasant.... I ordered grilled salmon asparagus and broccoli. I asked about a avocado salad, but she did not know if it?s a meal size ornot. My appetizer was clams on half shell, which was served with no utensils, not cut out , no lemon or Tabasco sauce. Of courseI requested all to enjoy my raw clams.The entire meal served with plastic folk. Very hard to eat raw clams with a plastic folk.The food tasted good, not over cooked at all. The avocado salad is a dinner. And tasted very good. My Harthill merlot wasadequate. The music was very loud, I felt that I was in a dance hall instead of restaurant. In summary, nothing very specialabout the Red Crab seafood. The ambiance is the best thing about the meal, with exception of loud music. The food was not bad. However, the service was horrible. The waitress had a bad attitude from the start, her name is Lina, she... only came to take Our orders and never checked on us again until it was time for the bill. When it was time for the bill whichwas $105. When we paid the bill and I made sure to leave her a tip, she started counting the tip in front of us and startedyelling at us in front of my kids asking saying the tip wasn?t big enough. I?ve never in my life encounter such a thing in anyrestaurant that I?ve been to. I gave her a 10$ tip and it wasn?t enough for her. I gave her another $5 and left with my familyand will NEVER GO BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. First time coming to this place, ordered snow crabs and shrimps. The food was overall okay. Nothing bad but at the same time... nothing great either. The whole meal was okay. No issues with the serving either. What made this a 2/5 review was the service.The waiter only spoke to me and my girlfriend twice. Once to ask what we want to order and second time for the check. Neverasked us if we were good or if we wanted anything else to order to drink or eat such as dessert. Gave off the energy that shewanted us in and out as if it was fast food. We left a very small amount of tip. After that she came running outside after meand my girlfriend asking us why didn?t we leave a good enough tip and if I?m crazy for eating out and not leaving a good amountof tip. Never have I seen any server run after me outside for half a block for a tip telling me to ask her boss for some reasonthat I needed to leave a tip to begin with. Service was inappropriate and very not polite overall. Great service and good food. Fried shrimp and calamari were excellent.
What a fun treat on a Sunday afternoon Halloween. Our feast was spicy and sweet and you could taste the ocean with the saltiness... of brine. It was fun breaking into the shells! A must go to place. I felt like a hunter catching my prey and feeding myself. Ofcourse all fantasy but still an adventure in gastronomic delight. !! Read more
