Great ambiance, super cute design. Food was great. We ordered the veggie curry, spicy noodles, pork slaw and fried chicken (to... die for!). Great wine menu, tried a glass of orange from Tuscany. Also the tapioca pudding for dessert! Kyle took care of us andhe was wonderful. Read more

Wow. Such great food! Stumbled on this place when I was in the neighborhood. I went by myself and ordered for 12 people.... :-) They’re on Uber eats so I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu. They mark: gluten free, dairy free, andvegetarian on all items on their menu. (See my pic) I ate outside in the front. The structures they’ve built are some of thenicest I’ve seen. Notice the metalwork on the smaller one! When I used the bathroom, I noticed they also have a super cutebackyard that looks like it’s set up to be semi-private for tables of two (makes for decent social distancing and/or privacy). But to be honest, I didn’t get a chance to go back there and really look. Can’t wait to go back! Read more

Maybe it is just me and my taste buds, but I didn't really like the food there. Maybe I have ordered wrong dishes, but for... instance their curry is just some meat with a white rice and very little almost untraceable amount of sauce. Their the onlydessert... well... just skip it. The only thing that I really like was a spicy salad with pork. Read more

I can’t recommend Rangoon enough. The dishes are fresh, unique, and delicious without being overly rich, saturated, or... pretentious. The space is clean and beautiful with a great atmosphere for a date or for a group of friends. We tried the tealeaf salad, onion fritters, mango and shrimp salad, cold tamarind noodles, spicy mee shay noodles, and prawn curry--all wereamazing. We also tried multiple wines, all of which were lovely and paired well with the spices in the dishes. First time eatingBurmese and I will definitely be back to try more. Thank you to the staff and the manager, Kyle, for your recommendations andtaking such good care of us. Read more

Intimate place, we went for lunch and ordered four dishes to share for three and we're very well fed. Everything was delicious... and came out quick. Tea leaf salad was fresh and delicious but beware of the hot red chilis. The lemongrass chicken Curry wasreally flavorful and made for a nice mild curry. The fried chicken was really good with or without the dipping sauce. Thetamarind cold noodles were delicious as well. Read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while since I live in the neighborhood and walk by frequently. The exterior is beautiful... and unique. We swung by around 7pm for an impromptu dinner and the only inside seats left were at the counter so we opted tosit outside. The outdoor seating is completely covered from the elements. There are heaters inside too. It’d be pleasant tooutdoor dine in any weather. What we ordered: Tea leaf salad - cabbage heavy. Good amount of Thai bird chilies sprinkledthroughout for good heat. Vinegary in flavor. I wish there was more tea leaf for an earthier flavor. Lemongrass fish noodlesoup - thick soup, heavy in lemongrass flavor. Thin clear noodles. No noticeable fish pieces. Topped with an onion fritters anda medium boiled egg. Coconut chicken noodle soup - strong chicken broth flavor, thick soup. Flat egg noodles. Topped with rawonions, a fritter, and medium boiled eggs. Pieces of chicken in the soup. We were hoping both the noodles would be stronger inflavor. Both were pretty mild and felt a bit one note to us. Perhaps we have heavy palates though I thought the tea leaf saladwas complex in its own way. Cocktails - delicious! 3/5 stars because I enjoyed the location, the decor, space, and thecocktails. Food was serviceable but wasn’t too interesting. Service was fine but not particularly inviting. Highlight was the lemongrass fish noodle soup, which is a staple in Burma. Really flavorful and filling, the soup itself has a... thicker consistency. The bean fritters and tea leaf salad were good starters. Bean fritters has a slight mochi chew to it andthere’s some heat to the salad. The spicy fish relish wasn’t a necessary side. The space itself is nice; not too muchseating inside, but there is also a nice outdoor patio space. Read more
