Found this Yemen style coffee house by chance and absolutely loved it! The place just had great vibes and the smell of the spice... was amazing! I tried - - sesame feta phyllo which was delicious and topped with honey - Yemeni latte which had cardamom andmilk. Place was super crowded on a Saturday night with long wait times. They make everything in front of you Read more

Yemeni Coffee and dessert place open late. Very hopping place even late at night. Service was quick even with the line and... crowd. The Yemeni Coffee and tea were excellent. The flavors are very cardamom forward. The pastries are really good as well. The place is loud but that is what you expect from a coffee house with friends coming together for a chat at the end of the day.Loved everything about the experience! Found this Yemen style coffee house by chance and absolutely loved it! The place just had great vibes and the smell of the spice... permeated the store in a very nice way! First time having a Yemeni latte, and it basically feels like a nice in between of aregular latte and chai. The spice (guessing cardamom and others) somehow reminded me of a coffee shop in Michigan???? Next timeI want to go back and try their tea in pots and also some of the pastries! Can?t wait! Take a sip into the origins of coffee at Qahwah. Walking in feels like a magical journey of exploration of coffee at its most... ancient roots. Hints of cardamom and nutmeg lacing through the coffee aroma. Their teas infused with various herbs make it adelight if it?s own. Add in one of the Yemeni pastries for a heavenly combination. If you have time, sit at the coffee bar andexperiment with different flavors made to order and your preference. Read more

This is a nice hangout place after dinner. The bread with the cheese and honey on top was my favorite. Not overly sweet. I... would skip the chocolate and lemon cake. It was too dense and tasted like it was made from the box. This place is PACKED onweekend nights, but personally I didn?t mind because I ran into an old friend! Read more

My friends and I were looking forward to coming to this place for almost 2 months. All I can say it was as expected and more.... The atmosphere was immaculate, it was very modern and had a nice sense of community that made us feel very safe. My friends andI recommend the Yemeni latte because it was very tasteful and addicting, it had us hooked. All the flavors contrasted each otherperfectly. Since we enjoyed it very much we came two nights in a row. Not to mention the customer service was top notch, everyone was very kind and welcoming to us. We?re looking forward to coming back and enjoying our favorite cafe in New YorkCity. Read more
