Used to be a decent spot but with whatever happened today idk if I can say it?s decent anymore. Everyone?s out the door while I... have been waiting for my order for 15 min. I ask the employee and they said to wait another 4 min. After 10 min they said towait longer. After that I?ve lost my patience there isn?t any way it takes almost 30 min for a chicken sandwich. Came in to get some tenders and they announce they had tenders. I watched the worker literally give all the rest of the tenders... to a guy who already received his order and added it into his box, which weren't an order of tenders anyways. Then proceeded tothrow out the remaining tenders and when I went up to ask for some tenders I was told that there was none. That was adisappointment....ended up walking out empty handed....kind of messed up to do when there were other customers still left in thestore who had to order. Read more
I am changing the positive review that I wrote a few days ago about this Popeyes chicken. I ate the chicken sandwich ( for the... first time ) and I have been terribly sick for the past few days. I rarely eat fast food, but a few years again I was sick byPopeyes chicken. I thought maybe it was a one time thing. I?m mad at myself for not learning a lesson. Ps. I looked up Popeyesfood making people sick, omg. There are so many people complaining about getting food poisoning, stomach virus from Popeyes, Iwonder how they are allowed to operate. Food was okay. I don't eat much fried chicken or fried food so I didn't feel so great after eating it. My son likes it though.
Today is a beautiful day of about 83 degrees, and I was walking to Prospect Park to enjoy a relaxing picnic day with my friends.... We were going to go to McDonalds but we saw Popeyes on the way and we decided to get it instead. I was really looking forward toPopeyes because I like their chicken even though I just had it two days ago at my friend?s house when we were playing this gamethe quarry where you have to play a bunch of characters including Brenda song in a horror summer camp game so I checked myPopeyes app for deals and I saw that there was a 5 dollar shrimp tackle box!!!!!! What a steal!!!!! But then I redeemed it andwent up to the cashier to use it and she said that there was no butterfly shrimp. And I was really disappointed. So I got 5piece chicken and sides instead. It was okay but I think my day really would have been even more special if I was able to getthe 8 piece shrimp tackle box with fries. The manager was really nasty it was very disorganized in completing peoples orders, the fry guys we?re jus standing by the... frustration eating whiles, they were pretty much out of almost everything during what I would call rush hour which would makemore sense to have a couple more people on schedule! Bought 3 pieces spicy chicken about midday today 5/21/20 and the chicken was OLD and refried. It was dried out and tasted... horrible. I was sick with a stomach virus later in the afternoon. A 311 complaint was filed. Will never buy at Popeyes franchiseagain Read more
Terrible location. Staff are VERY disrespectful and lackadaisical. Not service minded at all. Food is often cold and poorly... assembled. Management is never present. Read more
