Superb service, the owners are very nice and they have the best tacos, the best nachos, tortas you can possibly imagine. Their... ice cream is also incredible. They also have incredible sausages, cheese, bread and beverages in the deli section. All theirfood and desserts have incredibly fresh ingredients and some ice cream flavors come directly from Mexico. Holy Birria! Stopped in for a quick snack mid day and the food is off-the-charts. Simple and exploding with flavor! Our tacos... (Birria and Al Pastor) were made to order which took about 10 minutes?worth every second of the wait?excellent! Served with achipotle salsa also screaming with tasty deliciousness. We wanted to try a different taco spot and we were very pleased with Plaza Ortega. When you walk in, there is a grocery store... with Mexican goods, so you go to the counter to order your food then sit down. The interior is decorated with beautiful Talaveratiles and sombreros, so it feels like you are in Mexico. I think it?s something about the lighting that gives it that feellol. I ordered the birria combo that came with 3 tacos and consomé for $12. The birria had tender beef rich with flavor. Theconsomé came out hot with generous amounts of beef in it. Came with green and red salsa- the red salsa had a nice smoky tastefrom the chiles. Very fresh toppings! Delicious food, we will be back. Read more

Good tacos at this colorful little spot in Brooklyn that also carries a selection of Mexican groceries. I had the al pastor,... carnitas, Birria, and fish. I?d say the Birria and fish were my favorites. They also have a good selection of Mexican beers. Ifyou?re in the neighborhood, definitely worth hitting up. Read more
