I really love Pitanga. But this morning I got an açai bowel and it had straight up ice chunks in it. See pic. One of those... unfortunate ~ depends on who is working that day ~ sort of inconsistencies. For how much I paid for the bowel this was superdisappointing! In Brooklyn for the weekend with a friend who lived in the neighborhood a couple years ago. This place feels like home. This... spot was so cute, food was incredible and the service was friendly and top notch. They had gluten free options like the BananaBread which was also Vegan. This place is a dream. Sooooo good. So happy to find a spot with pao de queijo. Pitanga bowl, orange juice, and some coffee made the perfect breakfast.
I just recently moved here from Maui, Hawaii and we have our share of açaí bowls. You can find them literally everywhere. I... had thought those were the best açaí bowl but I was wrong!!! I had the Peruvian açaí bowl here and was blown away, it?shands down my favorite açaí bowl to date! The flavor was great, the base was the perfect texture & temperature! I lovedeverything about it. This place is amazing! Came in for the first time and had the Avocado Grain-free Breakfast. The plate presentation was... immaculate and the food was satisfying and delicious.
