Reviews for New Forest Cafe in Brooklyn, NY
They cook the best beef noodles soup I ever had in nyc. The owner is very friendly.
The food is authentic HK style. It is big portion and delicious. However, it is a bit expensive compare to other restaurant.
This is a second time I ordered the Condense milk with Peanut butter French Toast. Very disappointing. Want to ask the owner... is it expensive to give a little more of peanut butter....for that I give one star. Read more
Very disappointed at this place. Chicken wing is tasteless and so oily. The corn meats over rice, it’s not the original style... and it became a egg with meats over rice. The beef noodles has only three pieces of meats but full bowl of carrots, I guess thisis the way being more healthy. Read more

Food taste just like Hong Kong style. It was worth the drive to 86st Chinatown Brooklyn. Must try the Hong Kong style milk tea... and the wonton lo mein. The price is a bit higher than others but never know until you try it for yourself. Also they charge asurcharge for takeouts which I find it strange. Why not include that into meal since right now due to Covid it's is not anoption but to do take out. This location is a bit further from the 86 st Chinese area so that is a plus, plenty of meterparkings and less congested. Read more
I ordered a combo E from the menu. The hot hk tea hit the spot. However, the satay noodle soup base need more seasoning and... the scrambled egg with ham was a bit qreasy. But overall it fill my belly. Would come back to try other items on the menu Read more
