Tasty curry shrimp and many fine Thai dishes... March/2022 still most amazing Thai taste...
I have been coming to this restaurant for years but today will be my LAST! my plate was given to the wrong guest. I watched my... waitress RUN back to the table take the plate back walk it to the cook and let him put it in a pan to warm up and 10 secs laterit was presented to me. When I confronted the waitress about what I saw she lied to me and told me it was my friends dish andthat they Made a new one which then came out 1 minute later. An obvious lie. I am completely DISGUSTED. I expected so much morefrom this place, and to be lied to after I clearly after I saw my dish clearly being given to someone else. I?m in shocked Ifeel disrespected and they have completely lost me as a customer. The truth and doing the right thing (remaking my dish) wouldhave been the appropriate action. Read more

If you don?t know by now I?m a Thai food connoisseur and this place is top tier. I?ve lived in Fort Greene since 97 and seen... many places come and go; including my Uncle?s restaurant, Lucien Blue. I?ve walked past National so many times since moving backand I never felt the need to walk in until my Mom said I should because she tried it the last time she visited and loved it.Well folks, mama knows best because they hit the mail right on the head; authentic flavor, exceptional hospitality (the Thaitouch) with an interior design that was honest in its minimalism. Visited more than 3 times and would be going back for more!! A great place for some heart warming Thai food and delicacies. Red... curry noodles, spicy noodles, Thai fried rice and Tom Kha soup are a must try. Great place to hangout with friends and family.The ambience is accentuated by the choice of lighting and pretty little tea candles on the table. The place also has a quaintlittle bar, although never tried the drinks. Read more
I have to admit , some dishes were alright. For example, I've had better thai summer rolls and calamari elsewhere. But overall,... it's ok. Curry and noodles is good. Of course, Friday night is busy. Theres a wait time but service is good too. Read more
My first experience there. It wasn?t pleasant at all, the food presentation was nice. But oh lord, where do I begin? I ordered... the mixed seafood with vegetables and spicy green coconut curry with pad Thai noodles. It was terrible. Tasteless. It justtasted like straight up seafood, no seasoning, NOTHING! The sauce was watery, the noodles were just in the middle of the sauce Ihad to mixed it in. It looks almost like they just threw everything together. They put the sauce on the plate, threw thenoddles,then the veggies and seafood. Terrible! Service was horrible. The waitress wasn?t nice nor rude. Would never give themmy money again. Read more
