Me and my boyfriend were craving tacos one afternoon so we had stopped by and ordered take out, after ordering the birria tacos... the bartender had asked me if I wanted a drink at the bar as I wait for my food and I said yes, and agreed to a frozenmargarita. What I didn?t realize is that I would be charged $10 gratuity just because I had ONE drink at the bar. I think thiswas insane and they shouldn?t charge, in this case OVERCHARGE people for service that wasn?t even that great. Let?s rememberthat tip is optional and my food was ordered to go. Not to mention I did plan on tipping the bartender a few bucks for thedrink, I just think it was unnecessary to put it on my tab especially when the bartender?s service wasn?t great atall. The food was very bland, the torta my friend had was very lacking and was not worth 20 dollars, this food is very much made for... bland tastebuds, the aguachiles I had was a but better but not so good, the shrimp where not deveined for the price and didn?tcome with anything!! The only good thing about this was the location. The burrito was Gordon Ramsey ?Bland?. Where is the Mexican flavour ??? The... chilli sauce was also very disappointing. The drinks were ok which is the reason for the second star (one star otherwise).Overall very disappointed to pay 80 bucks for two burritos and two drinks. Read more

This place was a cute little spot in Bushwick. I wish I got a picture of the indoor decor. They had luchador masks hung on the... walls. Delicious & authentic Mexican food located in the heart of Bushwick! The restaurant was COVID-safe, they took our temperature... and have partitions that separate guests within the restaurant. The margaritas were tasty & strong! I ordered the margarita,chorizo nachos and al pastor taco. I was so full and very satisfied.
