This place is great for breakfast or coffee. I brought my students there for breakfast and everybody was happy. The service is... fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and omelets portions are large enough to fill you till lunch. Their Turkish teaand coffee are great also. Read more

Good Food. I recommend to try traditional Uyghur dish ? Laghman(made with hand stretched noodles). Best I tried in New... York! Rumor says Marco Polo was so impressed with that dish, that he brought it to Italy and now we know Spaghetti. Prices aregood, portions are big. Read more

Food portion not enough for the price paid. Food was decent, nothing extraordinary especially because I?m know of a smaller... scale Turkish Restaurant in the same neighborhood that serves phenomenal Turkish food at half the price. Like another postersaid, you are mainly paying for the ambience. I initially dined in their outdoors seating area first time I frequented thisrestaurant and the second time around, ordered through takeout. Read more

The location is great, especially on a sunny day. Very chill atmosphere sitting in their outdoor area, people watching, sipping... on coffee and having some desert. The service is a bit slow, but perhaps a lazy Sunday afternoon warranted it. Read more

The Turkish Masal restaurant is a really good idea. A very extensive menu with both Turkish and American options. The dining... room is very spacious and very clean. Like the last time, I was tempted by chicken soup and Vegetarian Kumpir. This is a bigoven baked potato stuffed with vegetables. Really very tasty. In my opinion this restaurant is recommendable. Of course, asin all of New York, proof of vaccination must be provided. Read more

Food was nice and the outdoor area is nicely decorated but the service was poor. I was served my food without being given any... utensils to eat it with and my son's dish was forgotten altogether. Worth giving it another chance though. Read more

Not bad but not fantastic. Food was good and fresh, we ordered the pina coladas and they were super tasty. Of course the outdoor... seating is the best you will find on Emmons. However, I'd give 3 1/2 stars overall because of service. Service seemed to be allovee the area and not because they were busy with customers but they were too busy socializing to stay focused. It ended upcausing mine and what it looked like around us orders to be delayed. We were never checked on, because the waiters were alwaysjust chatting away with eachother. They need to be professional and attentive on the clock - other than that the food, setting, and menu is very enjoyable. Read more

The best thing about Masal is sitting outside --they have tons of outdoor seating especially since they've opened Masal Plus... down the street from the original location -- on a sunny afternoon. Great vibe. Excellent people watching! The food is okay. Wehad the Turkish breakfast which was much better the last time we ate at the original location. This time it seemed skimpy. Thetoast tasted old like it had been toasted and then re-toasted. I asked for and got some much fresher warm bread that was good. The salad was fine. We ordered a cheese and pastrami pide that they forgot to cook. We had to wait for them to cook finally cookit so wet could take it home. I had a lemonana which came only half full and completely melted not slushy as described. Theflavor was good, but for $7.00 for a drink of minty lemonade I expect better. Read more
