The Mac Shack will simply delight all those who dine on their world famous mac. I rode my bicycle here and was not disappointed... by the huge portion sizes, made-to-order freshly baked macaroni and sweet juices. Had the combo #1 with jerk chicken, and asmall Burger Mac aka Bed-Stuy. Had to take leftovers home. PRO TIP- bring your own metal cutlery from home so that you canscrape the burnt cheese bits off the side of the aluminum container and pop those quickly and easily in your mouth, you'llunderstand how heaven tastes after that. Place clean and food good. FAT portions for the price. A short wait for the food but you can actually see the people in the... back making the mac. No indoor dining but you can eat outside on tables. Would definitely eat there again. Read more

Bad reviews seem overly critical. Mac and cheese lunch special was a lot of food for the price. I actually think the size was... more than generous and it was not too long of a wait. Perhaps a 10 minute wait for a lunch special doesn?t strike as timely ifyour are in mid town Manhattan during a 9-5 job, but I was in Brooklyn on a Thursday at 1pm and I was in no rush. The food washot and fresh. Chicken was lackluster for ?jerk?, but I?m Jamaican so, probably a bit biased as to what a good ?jerk? chickentastes like. Don?t mind the mixed reviews, this place is amazing. I ordered the 4 baked wing lunch special with classic mac (came with a... ginger ale)???? The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and falling off the bone. Lemon pepper sauce wasperfectly seasoned and not overpowering. The mac was divine. Sooo much cheese. The noodles were perfectly cooked so they stillhad bite and texture. I called ahead and picked up 15-20 min later. Everything was ready and very fresh. 10/10. I would eat hereevery day but I would be 300lbs lol. Only disappointment is the lunch price is $7 on the door, $7.50 on the menu, and theycharged me $8.50.
