Nice spot for breakfast - plenty of seating in quaint neighborhood

The staff were really nice, helpful, and efficient. I ordered the avocado toast and it may have been the very best I've ever... had. The bread, creamy avocado, seasonings, picked onion, tomatoes, and the egg created a delicious balance of flavors. It wasas delicious as it was beautiful! Read more
I have never had any menu item at Rosalu that was not top notch. They make what I believe is the best burger in the city. The... pancakes (!) are special. The breakfast sandwich in all its iterations is addictive--I would say it's the ideal of the fast foodbreakfast sandwich, but that would be underselling it. The restaurant is notably clean and aesthetically pleasing, and itsservice is pleasant and efficient. The owner seems to always be there and he's really friendly and helpful. (I have nothing todo with the restaurant, I'm just glad that it exists!) I love this place. Read more
I really don?t understand those 1 - 2 stars review. Are you kidding?!!!! This place is a local business in Brooklyn, with... delicious food (not many options but what they have it?s super yummy) the pancakes are my favorite! Fluffy and crispy at thesame time! The staff are really friendly! People complaining about paper plates and etc.. come on!!!! You eat the FOOD, not theplate! Let?s support locals! I love have breakfast w my family at Rosalu! I really liked the vibe. You go to the counter to order, and there is no waiter to bother you. However, food is average at best.... Bacon, hashbrown, and sausage are mediocre and are straight from the freezer. I can't rate any coffee or pastries, but I'd bewilling to come back to check them out. Read more
The food is ok, but the vibe is weird. No waiter service, you order at a counter and clear your own table. No substitutions on a... very limited menu. Food is served on paper plates with plastic utensils (wasteful). I?m an adult, I like dishes. Read more
The staff is nice but the owner/manager seems to actively push away business. Sometimes you can get take out and sometimes you... cannot. And there is never a clear indication of when this rule is in effect. I walked in recently only to be accosted andinformed there were no tables available, I said ok no problem and that I?d be ordering to go. The owner replied that I could notorder anything to go. It was a bizarre interaction coming from a small business. I enjoy supporting local businesses but if youdon?t want my money I?m happy to spend it elsewhere. Oh well.
