Reviews for Luigi's Pizza in Brooklyn, NY
Had hesitated to go here in the past because the pizzas did not always look as appealing or appetizing in photos. I thought it... would be good but on par with Prince?s Street and not close to Joes. But man was I wrong. It?s not too often that you?ll seethe owner of a famous location making the pies. Made me think of Dom at Di Fara and upon receiving my slice? it brought backmemories of a Di Fara slice too. Might be the best slice I?ve ever ever had if I?m being honest & I would?ve ordered a Lg Pie ifI hadn?t already eaten at 4 pizzerias beforehand. Cannot wait to go back in the future to try this and I hope you all go too Read more
Amazing pizza in Brooklyn. Reviews were great so checked it out. Large cheese for $18. Thin crust, great sauce and cheese, the... way a pizza should be! Plenty of outdoor seating in addition to some indoor seating. Read more
Solid spot for a slice. It's a pretty no frills joint but the pizza holds its own. Love that they keep the slices $2.50. Shows... that every place in the city could do the same and still make money. Pizza Adventures: Destination #148 Read more
Good service. Reminiscent of old style 70s pizzerias that are scarce in Brooklyn nowadays. The pizza was a little too crispy for... our taste. Workers don't wear masks if that is an issue for some, though customers are required to. Read more
There?s gems and then there?s GEMS - Luigi?s is a GEM. Hard to go wrong w/ any of the slices but I?m a fan of the fresh... mozzarella and the grandma myself. The shop is no frills but the original decor adds to the experience and Gio, the owner andson of a Luigi, is as nice as they come - easily one of my favorite pizza experiences. Read more
The pizza by it self is superior to Most other NY slices in all of the city. But if you?re fortunate to be there when Giovanni... the owner is there it?s a whole experience. I worked my way through the slices. First a margarita w the herb drizzle which wasthe best thin crust margarita hands down. Then I got a plain slice. Wasn?t the best example but I got a good sense of what itwill be when I go back and get a fresh pie. Then I tried to get a pepperoni slice and that?s when the owner insisted I try thesquare. Solid square slice. Crispy on the bottom, the rest is fluffy. They put sauce on it 2x when making it. To say the least, the pizza at Luigi?s is distinguishable in a great way from the competition. Thanks Luigi?s! ???????????? Read more
Good pizza. Good sauce. Good cheese. Cooked perfectly. One of the crispier pies i ever had. 8.1 in my book as the official... score. They were busy when i came so maybe 8.4 if they had a little more time to work on it? Either way, delicious local pizzaspot and they do not over charge for their pizza. $17.75 for a pie and i think $2.50 for the slice. Worth a try if you arearound. Read more
