Nice little spot to stop in for a healthy smoothie, and a coffee. I tried one of their vegan pastries and loved it.

Stopped in for the first time today and picked up a salad to go for work. Boy, was that salad a disappointment. Absolutely no... flavor, which is so hard to do with ingredients like beans, soy chorizo, corn, avocado dressing. The corn tasted like plastic. The soy chorizo did not have any flavor at all (isn't chorizo by default supposed to be spicy?! not necessarily hot spicy, butit should have spice for flavoring). The rice was so stale that I couldn't bite through it. The kale was incredibly tough andimpossible to bite through. The dressing disappeared and absolutely did not taste like anything. All in all, I am beating myselfup because I could have just spent an extra 10 minutes in the morning and prepared a much better salad for myself, instead ofspending something like $15 on this cardboard salad. I truly love this place and have never had a disappointing experience until today. I bought a lovely incense holder they sell in... the shop, each one for sale had one incense stick placed inside. They also sell packs of incense but no signage stating theindividuals are sold separate or that is even an option. The lady at the register who was very kind, asked if I would like itwrapped. I said yes and she obliged. Once home I thought just to check and re wrap myself. Well the one incense had been takenout. This was a gift for someone and I just wish the communication had been better that it was not included. It was already a 38dollar ceramic incense holder, I just found it to be incredibly tacky from a business perspective to not include the oneincense. As they can?t sell it on its own anyways. I enjoy this place but sadly the principle of this put a bad taste in mymouth :-/ Read more

I finally decided to go to Lively Brooklyn last weekend for a breakfast! And I was extremely satisfied. This cafe is like the... cutest and coziest with the prettiest decoration . I cannot get over the interior haha! Small cafe but with great decoration ,plants and lighting. We ordered the almond butter toast , avocado toast and cortado and another coffee with ghee( forgot thename sorry) . The breakfast had been one of the best breakfast we had. The food was delicious! We had the perfect Instagramworthy seating lol and food looked as pretty as it tasted. I love how they have really good magazines/ books to read. I will saythe employee was really sweet and friendly. Me and my boyfriend had an amazing breakfast date here! I really recommend you allthis cute cafe if you're looking for a great food and an aesthetic vibe! Read more

I wanna love this place because it?s so cute, light, and airy. In other words, it?s one of those super cute instagrammable... places, especially that little corner spot, and the staff is friendly, and they allow dogs in! But let?s talk coffee: I?ve hadtheir coffee, from cortado, to ice coffee and regular brew and they have all tasted toooo acidic. I only drink black coffee soI can really taste the intense sour acidity. A bit disappointing, especially for the price they charge. Their fresh juiceshowever is their saving grace. Now I go mainly just for those, and pick up coffee elsewhere. Read more
