Wow. I'm honestly shocked at how bad the food was. I ordered delivery, if that's relevant, and while the delivery was fast and... the delivery man was really nice, this is hands down the worst Indian food I've ever had. Indian food is my favorite cuisinetoo. I ordered chicken tikka masala and naan. The naan was soggy and a little too elastic, but it was okay. The chicken tikkamasala was terrible. It was like eating unseasoned chicken in a sugar-water sauce. Seriously, I've had Indian food that's toosweet before, but never even close to how sweet this was. No tang, no deep spice flavors, and I could actually taste howunseasoned the chicken was. The curry was also super thin and watery. I've never had curry that watery. It tasted like a whiteperson's version of an Indian recipe with no traditional techniques. No idea who cooked this, but it was very sad anddisappointing. Read more

We ordered naans (onion and garlic) and roti (tandoori) for takeout and were pretty disappointed; we're Indian so have... experience and standards and the naans were too thick, and without much flavor. The samosas were okay but nothing to write homeabout. They did charge for pickle/achar and overall found it pricey for what we got ($47 for 6 naans/rotis, side of rice, and 4samosas total) Read more

Delicious food, good prices, and great service! Highly recommend. They have a two person special that gets you and appetizer,... naan, and two entrees for ~$31 or so! Read more

Super duper delicious spot with lovely staff and great prices. My favorite bite was the goat in the biryani, it was so tender... and succulent! Everything else was very good. My only complaint is that the chicken in the butter chicken was just chickenbreast, and overall there wasn't much spice in anything, but I think both of those issues are just a byproduct of being inClinton Hill and not a significantly Indian neighborhood. Overall great flavors and great prices! Read more

I really liked the cauliflower Manchurian appetizer. It is hard to describe what it did to my taste palate. It is nicely... battered so the outside was crunchy without too much breading. The cauliflower inside was tender. Nicely seasoned. I thoughtmaybe to my eyes the portion sizes were small, but my tummy thinks otherwise. I felt pretty stuffed and even had to take therest to go. The service was pretty timely. I also ordered the chicken spinach dish and liked the thin julienned slivers ofginger garnish. The chicken was on pointe, tender and tasty. The mango lassi drink was good. The garlic naan was good as wellthat I wish the portion for that was larger. I would come back for more! Read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. Came in expecting generic Indian buffet style food which, in my... experience, is always just okay in NYC. Boy was I wrong. Firstly, there is no buffet. It's a-la-carte and the simple dish Iordered, Chicken curry with rice, was simply delicious. Having lived in India for 30 years, I can confidently say that thisrestaurant would have no difficulties being considered authentic, even on the streets of Bombay. One of the best unpretentiousmeals I've had in my time in NYC. Read more
