I've been coming here for breakfast for the past few weeks. The young lady and young man taking orders always greets the... customer with a friendly good morning. Outstanding, it's an unassuming space near the middle of the block from the Utica and Ave. D corner that I've been coming to for... years. You enter toward the back and seating is to the right, do not let the look fool you the food is top quality Trinidadianfair. I've had so far the chicken and goat roti's. Like a good roti the rot (dhalpuri) is super moist but flaky and absorbent.The filling should be moist and not dry...the potatoes usually soak up insufficient sauce...theirs is just perfect. Also sincethere is rarely a line you are sure to get your roti pretty quickly. Highly recommended. Read more
SLACKNESS! I went in to order a vegan roti today (just potatoes and veggies), and I come to find out that the roti had meat in... it! Had I not opened it I would have never known.
