We used Joy Indian Restaurant for our catering and our guests LOVED the food. We had a Bengali wedding and they catered to my... mom's specifically Bengali items. Abu, the owner, was extremely professional and accommodating to all our changes. He checked inwith our venue and truly created an incredible catering experience for our guests. We loved every dish and I'm super thankful toreceive so many compliments for the food. Thank you Abu Read more

Eating here was truly a joy. We had the tangy gobi, mattar paneer, and malai kofta - each was mouthwatering and the perfect... level of flavor and spice. The food was prepared quickly and our server Prema was wonderful. Overall amazing food, excellentservice, and cozy atmosphere - a true hidden gem that everyone must try. Read more

This place literally made my day! The food was perfection! Super flavorful with the perfect kick of spice and the stuffed naan... is seriously the best bread I’ve ever had. Not only is the food great, but also the prices are so good especially for thequality and size and the workers are angels. This will be my new go to Indian spot :) Read more

Fell way short of my expectations. You see, the last time I was here was about 17years ago. Perhaps a different management... then!. I ordered Chicken Tiki Masala, (my usual) the tomato sauce appeared to be from a can, not homemade and too sweet!. Thepoori wasn't like I'm accustomed to either. It wasn't whitish in color, big like a blow fish and full of hot air until you pokeit with a fork. It came nearly deflated, almost flat, brownish and collapsed without our help shortly after it hit the table!.My son had chicken curry with coconut sauce and my wife had grilled cauliflower. All of which were good to therm!. My i add thatwe didn't want tap water and they brought us 3 bottles of Poland Spring water since they didn't have sparking water. SanPeligrino etc. The waiter was nice and cordial but i won't be going back. I guess I'm stuck on the good ol days of finer diningand the absence this devastating pandemic that may very well have had some bearing on my lack luster dining experience Read more

Wonderful food and a great value compared to other places I ate at in the Brooklyn area. The place was neat and staff was... friendly. Also enjoyed watch people as they walked by. However, the restaurant was empty so I missed the chatter of peopletalking. Also, the news was on rather than the traditional music that is so common at a restaurant. Definitely will go back ifin Brooklyn and I have a hankering for Indian food. Read more

It is all about the food at this local Park Slope Indian restaurant. Simple setting and service. Their delivery and take out... orders are insane based on three recent visits i.e. it is probably quicker to dine at the restaurant. Bombay Liver served with"fluffy bread" is a must. Sag Aloo, Masala Dhal, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Shagoti, Mixed meat Biryani and Rogonjosh have allproven to be good and consistent although goat has never been available. 5* affordable food, 2* setting.
