Great drinks and cool vegan options to eat.... shinny disco ball makes me want to dance sometimes
We stopped by Izzy rose yesterday before heading to st James joy. I have NEVER come across a bartender who was as rude and... disrespectful as the guy who was working yesterday. After asking 3 questions about different cocktails - he told my boyfriend Iwas ?annoying? and if those were his friends he would be embarrassed. He also said that if we wanted an apology we should ?headto Manhattan?. I?ve worked in the service industry through my teens and 20?s. Never once would I ever speak to a customer likethat. We were not rude, we were not loud, we were simply asking questions about the cocktails - which is exactly what happens ata bar. Whoever is the manager here, check your employee who worked Saturday afternoon. He doesn?t deserve that job. I love yourbar, but now have zero desire to return. Read more
I have come here twice: once during the day and once at night. At night I loved the vibey interior - dimly lit, amazing... cocktails disco ball great music. During my day drink the backyard hit the spot. We settled into a shady table in the back andenjoyed being outside. I love having this in my neighborhood and can?t wait to make this a bar I got to regularly ! Read more

Great cocktail bar with a fairly large outdoor space in the back and a smaller one out front. Bartenders were super friendly and... helpful and the cocktails were delicious. I tried the El Antiguo which was quite boozy but well balanced and the Isla Calaverawhich was smoky and refreshing. That's a pretty good trick to pull off. Stopped here on the way home for a cocktail and they didn't disappoint! I ordered 2 of the same cocktails since I didn't want to... mix but they had a great selection. I was a bit worried at first but the amount of "bitter" ingredients but it was super subtlein my "spring...." I forgot the other part of the cocktails name. Read more
Have been here twice so far, once for drinks and a second time for dinner. Overall, would most likely just return for cocktails... and snacks. Service is definitely laid back and casual (I think in a good way, they give you space); do not go here if you?reimpatient and in a rush. Got the Izzy Rose Nachos both Times ? they?re tasty, just don?t be expecting your typical bar farenachos. The most recent time, I also got two tacos ? Bean There, Done That (preferred this one) and Jack of All Trades. As avegetarian, I really appreciate places like this where I can order anything off the menu. Read more
Great ambiance (music and drinks were great. Sound level was perfect to have a conversation. Bartenders were lovely.
