Saw good stories on their Instagram figure I'd check it out on memorial day weekend was not crowded order a frozen rum punch... took a while too come rum punch was not good at all went on too order appetizers ordered shrimp and calamari and Buffalo wingsthe calamari was so bad completely over cooked the shrimp was good the wings trash breaded with way too much sauce. Stillwanting too give this spot a chance I ordered main course and another drink b4 I ordered the bartender who was also waitingtables along with 1 other waiting who looked like he was not even old enough to be the gave me a list of all the things theywere out of no lamb chops no skirt Steak etc. so I ordered the rib eye medium with veggies and mash after about a 45 min wait the steak came out very well done and it was about 85% FAT the worst peice of steak I ever had in my life! Also ordered frozencasamigo margarita also not good. Long story short I had very high hopes for this spot and was highly disappointed definitelywill not be returning I am a very big supporter of Brooklyn BLACK OWNED restaurants and lounge unfortunately I will not be abletoo support this spot. Delicious!! Everything we had was tasty, flavourful, fresh, and hot. We ordered almost every appetizer on the menu. Its been... awhile that I've been out and enjoyed food that showed a talented chef, who cared about quality and presentation. And thecalamari...I can't get back there quick enough. Read more
Where to start … food is good, besides them not having any lobster on a seafood day they advertise on there social media page.... But service was HORRIBLE ! There was about 12 of us. Apparently there was only 1 cook, and everyone’s food came out atdifferent time . After two plus hours and paying the bill, we was still waiting for the last entree to come out, which wasordered with everyone else. We had to take it to go. We was so upset and over it . Ok so its a pandemic going on outside and I am a first responder essential worker. I'm tired and not cooking. I love the food... and really wanted to keep the place a secret for myself but they deserve credit!! I'm very picky but I am seriously pleasedwith the taste of my food and the portions. My only issue was calling to get my food on a 5/2/20 Saturday the girl seemed to benew she put me on hold and never came back to the phone, I needed to add to my order and get the total. I tried calling back abunch of attempts and no one answered. Both of my visits cost me $65.00 don't judge me I'm hungry but I had food for a few dayslol I ordered a bunch of things! The Rasta pasta I had was amazing. I’ll be trying everything on the menu in the coming weeks. Nice atmosphere, good service... and people in general. Next time I visit I’ll have a few drinks. I highly recommend this place and will be returning soon. Anupdate to my review....I went in and tried to speak to someone at the bar, the first guy behind the bar looked me straight in myface and ignored me. The female behind the bar looked at me walked to the other end of the bar then after a few minutes of doingnothing came and looked at me like I had an issue. I finally was able to place my order for the Rasta pasta. I waited 32min for2 chicken Rasta pasta orders. I paid and left. Getting home I noticed there was a significant difference in the food. It wasless than half the size of the the food I received the first time. If I had combined my food from the second order it would be 1of the plates from my first order. Yet I was charged the same amount. Absolutely disappointed. The food was delicious but I’mnot sure about returning if the food size isn’t going to be consistent. The food and drinks are excellent and I enjoy them every time I go inside their doors. The mac and cheese...lobster or shrimp or... regular are delicious and the wings are good too. The fries are excellent also. Read more
Amazing food and the ppl are always super friendly! Took my mom and little brothers out and everyone enjoyed their food. Host... was super friendly and informative. Love going here Read more
