A very decent dinner. I've came to Grand Canyon before but couldn't remember what it was like, so my family and I returned again... yesterday and it didn't live up to my expectations. In terms of declarations and friendliness, 5/5, but the food wasn't thecase. I ordered the Mexican omelette, a staple at most Mexican diners, however the eggs didn't have an ounce of seasoning, andthe other four dishes my family tried were also bland and quite frankly not good. Wife got tired of overpaying for underwhelming experiences at fancy restaurants, so after wondering in Prospect Park for hours,... she wanted to go home and see what our fridge holds. I offered to find a reasonably priced place and found this little diner.Southwestern theme, lots of mexican dishes plus regular diner fare. Wife had nachos with chicken and I ordered some kind ofburger with Russian dressing and selected to go with waffle fries (2.50$ extra) instead of regular fries. Portions were huge, weshared dishes and loved the food. No room for dessert, barely got up from the table as is. Friendly staff, waiter spoke englishso he could explain the mexican menu to us. This is a small diner, with usual diner atmosphere, nothing special, nothingnegative. All as expected. I appreciated no loud music blasting overhead, so we could relax and eat and talk. Definitely willcome back again to try other tasty things. Read more

I love Grand Canyon restaurant. I love their burgers most of all. I often order a Bleu Cheese Burger Deluxe, medium rare. ... Sometimes I get a chocolate milk shake with it. They make them so good and juicy. I have never been disappointed at thisplace. Read more

I tell everyone to stop spending a fortune on restaurants that are over rated just because it's located in Park Slope,... Brooklyn... Come here and get food that is actually satisfying and reasonably priced. No paying extra for exaggerated decor thatno one cares about. I live in Brooklyn and have been to almost every hot spot in Park Slope and very few can compare to grandcanyon when it comes to "real" food... first of all, the burgers! You've never had a burger until you've had one from grandcanyon, that's a fact! Hand made, real beef, every style you can think of. There's something for everyone. The whole menu isdelicious but the burgers are above and beyond. The staff is so friendly, you feel like you're eating in your own backyard whendining in one of their 2 outdoor options, and in your own home when u dine indoors. They don't have a fully stocked bar but theydo have the basics and a nice variety of wines. You must try the gyro quesadilla with Greek fries! ???? Read more
