On February 4 2022 we do Bread deliveries to CTown Supermarket & neighborhood's location told me to try food at nearby Golden... Krust. As usually i got oxtail, rice & pase, plantains & cabbage $18, I wish though nice lady would add more gravy on top ofrice like i asked her but it's ok, still tasty. Overall food was freshly made, taste GREAT, HOT & DELICIOUS ????!!! Well cookeddish, meat falling off the bone, we like it.???? Listen we were HUNGRY, we work hard just like you guys from early morninghours, woke up 04:30 a.m. it's second day in a row raining & cold outside so no complaints regarding of customer's service. Myfocus is food TASTE and absolutely not if anyone gave me a smile & kiss greeting with hello. Cashier was friendly, that's goodenough. I normally avoid this location due to the customer service but decided to give it a try again to get a small ackee N salt fish... with fried dumpling. When I went in I saw a customer leaving and smiling so I said ok the service appears to be better. I saidgood morning, she didn't say greet me back. I continued to ask if she had ackee? The price? etc. I guess service depends on ifthey know you or maybe I asked too much questions but miss Lady was cold. Then she proceeded to scold me about the 10 dollarminimum for debit card. My total was 9.25. Listen, business is business. All needed to be said was 'just to let you know thatthere's a $10 minimum, your total is 9.25, would you like to add a beef patty with that to bring it up to the minimum?' Instead,it was attitude. In the entire transaction, there was not 1 'hello, good morning, what are you having?, thank you, Not 1SMILE. Golden Krust will always get business because you sell the foods that Jamaicans know and love and there's no denyingthat the food is good... But good customer service goes a long way. Read more
The customer service is not good at all the attitude is on high not processional espically when im buying and not begging. They... i ask if they had roti skin she said no when roti chickem and goat on the menu. Then the price it say $7.95 for the meal shecharge me $8.50. Its the point and principle. Typical Golden Krust...food is good, competitively priced and staff is nice. They do more take out than dine. Patties are OK,... but you want to time them when they get out of the oven as they can be a bit on the drier and flakier side. Still solid all andall. Read more
The food here is good, especially when u don't want burger and fries meal. Oxtail, Curry goat, rice and beans, plantain and... cabbage all full ur stomach very well. Never had a problem with any of the staff. When their is a long line expect to wait forservice a bit longer than normal. Other than that never really had a problem with there food or anything else. This place nolonger excepts debit and credit due to scammers. Read more
