Gloria's roti and doubles are always good. I LOVE their curry chicken and I actually prefer to get my curry chicken from them... over a lot of other restaurants. The downside is the wait time for delivery is over an hour long and I wish this wasn't thecase, especially because I'm a 10 min. drive from them. I usually have to order for pick up or order 2 hours ahead oflunch/dinner just for it to be on time but the staff & the driver are usually courteous and nice. Read more
It was okay. I wanted to like it more because the ladies were so nice and efficient. I had brown stew chicken. It was okay. Not... a lot of meat on the bones. The rice and peas were sticky and goopy. The Mac and cheese needed more cheese! Read more
Based on recommendation I expected better. The curry conch dinner was good, the conch soft. The curry fish dinner was dry but... not bad, had some bones. Goat roti had tons of big chunks of bones and lots of (chickpea flour?) granules in the folds, whichmade for odd chalky mouth feel. Sorrel is cherry flavored pure sugar in liquid form. Shout out to Gloria who ever she is lol! This is an amazing little spot in Brooklyn with Phenomenal food I must say! I?ve been... coming here for a while now, whenever I come into nyc it?s a must to come get some food from here! The staff is really friendlyand nice, the store is a little small so it can get crowded very easy but always worth the wait if there?s any wait in line.Amazing menu items, great prices and the portions are generous! My go to is the shrimp roti with pumpkin (try that) but get aplate of food and I promise you?ll be coming back to Glorias wherever you are! I make the drive whenever I can! Sides were good especially the pumpkin and mac and cheese. Chicken was dry.
