My freind order food and they charged him extra. As a bengali I am embarrassed that they think they can do this to someone who... is highly respected in the Bengali community. Everyone knows this individual but I guess they didn't and they charged him extra.This type of behavior from my community is embarrassing. My family will never eat from here again. They charged me almost 50 dollars plus tax extra because they thought i wasnt brown or better yet Bengali. I showed my Bengali... freind the receipt and he confirmed that they charged me extra. The food was for my bengali freinds household who had a death inthe family. I told the older lady behind the counter that i know they charging me extra. I understand about 80% bengali growingup around bengalis my whole life. This was a despicable act they thought they were being slick. Charged me 213 dollars for 8goat byranis, 2 lentils and 3 beef currys Ridiculous. I will be disputing my charges. Unbelievable that they charge another browmuslim extra due the color of their skin. They thought they were being slick but when i called them out in their own languagetheir faces went pale. They said that what I was ordering was a large so they had to charge me double because all they have ismedium. Today me and my friend we had lunch there. The food was tasty, not that bad.
I purchased 5 morog polau and 1 achari kabab yesterday. I asked the attendant about the achari kabab. I asked whether achari... kabab is beef or chicken. It looked like chicken but the attendant said this was beef. But when we about to eat at home duringiftar we figure it out that it was chicken. If you are not sure about something then you could ask other attendant then responsethe customer. I was fan of your achari kabab before. I really love that. But whatever we had yesterday it was not achari kababat all. Also, I called the store before I head out. The girl on the phone said they have morog polau but eventually when I wason the spot I saw they have polau and chicken roast/korma on a different trays. However, the attendant gave me chicken in asepaate box and polau in a separate box. We all know this is not called morog polau at all. Please don?t make us fool. Excellent service.Good quality food.Their achari kabab is really tasty. They are friendly.They can speak Bengali,Hindi and... English. Everything is perfect except their AC. You will feel hot. Its not very good.So 4 star.otherwise 5 star for sure. Read more
