Food is wonderful - best Ethiopian I've had in NYC. The food is 5 stars, but they get 4 because the service is very slow... and... atmosphere could be more authentic (you don't sit or eat low to the floor here, for example). Still - great food. Read more

This is reliably the best Ethiopian restaurant in NYC by far. Slightly spicier and much more flavorful. We get the vegetarian... combo platter and it is always fantastic. There is another restaurant in the city with a very similar name, but the food thereis not nearly as good. This is worth the trip if you love Ethiopian food. They also are vegan and gluten-free friendly. Read more

Delicious food, attentive staff and it was easy to just walk in and get a table. I've been to a different Ethiopian restaurant... in the city but this one is much better. Everything we ate was delicious and the sour bread was not too sour, it was perfect! Read more
