This is restaurant is yummy! If you love potatoes you’ve come to the right place, enough potatoes to keep you full for one... week of potato-kind-of cravings. Indeed the aioli was the true star of the show and should not be overlooked. Zach was thebest! Bonuses: live DJ spinning old vinyl records and fun connect the dots! Read more

Gertie is just simply my favorite brunch spot in Williamsburg. The chicken salad sandwich slaps (I get it without lettuce due... to personal preference). The servers are awesome and everything on the menu is a win. The pastries are awesome, the chocolatechip cookie is my favorite but the black and white cookie is good too. The cold brew also is probably the best in theneighborhood and they’re open every day! Def make a reservation on the weekends if you’re more than two people, but it’sworth the wait! Read more

Place is super cute, staff are very welcoming and food was really good. French toast was delicious and the corned beef hash was... yummy just on the smaller side portion wise. The latkes? Absolutely amazing!! I ended up placing a 2nd order to bring home withme. Would definitely recommend giving them a try and will be returning to try a few more menu items in the future. Read more

Fantastic experience at Gertie as always! The staff is so welcoming, food is great, and music is wonderful. They can get busy on... the weekends so I recommend coming in earlier or on weekdays. The German potatoes are AMAZING and make it one of the bestbreakfasts in Brooklyn! It’s a clean restaurant with dine in and takeout options plus they offer delivery orders throughDoordash so it always works. Read more

After making reservations, informing that we were running late, and showing up within the 15 minute grace period, we learnt that... our table was given to someone when we arrived. Sure! The space itself is very bright and has a true Brooklyn vibe to it. Theyhave both, front outdoor seating and a backyard seating (which is self-service). The contactless service here is reallyeffective and we opted to seat ourselves in the backyard seating which was warm enough on a relatively cold Saturday. Weordered a few drinks which included Grapefruit Mimosa ($12), Bloody Maria ($13), and Spiked Arnold ($13). Drinks were just okand felt more like mocktails than cocktails. For food, we got the Everything Spice Mushrooms ($8) and German Potato Fries ($8)to share and I ordered the Mushroom Melt ($14) Deli Sandwich. I highly recommend ordering sandwiches with some sauce as the basesandwich was missing sauce. And while the description in the menu of our items looked very nice, the food unfortunately failedto live up to those expectations. My sandwich was overpowered by peppers which did not have any pickled taste to it, I couldbarely taste any caramelized onions! The only standout dish was the everything spice mushrooms - specifically the labne that itwas served with. Service was good and noise levels inside and outside were on the lower end. Friendly staff too. Overall we hada good experience but food was quite forgettable. Read more

We only stopped by for bagels this time and it was incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Looks like a great place... with yummy food. Their bagels were definitely chewy and delicious. They even had a non-dairy cream cheese. It's a littleexpensive compared to local bagel places but worth trying. They have indoor dining and an outdoor area but you need proof ofvaccination for indoor seating. Just FYI (as many places in NYC are requiring now). Read more
