Best Sicilian food in NY!! Definitely worth the trip to Brooklyn. Make sure you get a panelle special and a rice ball.
Had high expectations for this restaurant considering the high reviews however was very disappointed. The panelle were decent... but slightly greasy. The vastedda was dry seems like they missed a step and did not cook it in sugna after it was boiled so ittasted quite bland. However the arrancini was the biggest let down. The rice had no saffron in fact the sauce was so sweetalmost tasted like ketchup. The filling had no cheese. They were NOT authentic arrancini they were actually inedible. Thedecor was very cute and rustic but the restaurant was empty except for another table. Safe to say we will never be coming back. Read more
