This place has the sweetest management. They were closing when we arrived but still went out of their way to make us tacos... anyways and even brought out a bench for us to sit on while we waited. We came here at 12:30 in the morning after a stint at a bar down the street. It was so cold outside, the place was already... shuttered for the night — but the wonderful man working here let us order and let us come in and enjoy our meal inside. Stopped by here for a quick bite, ordered a B.L.T. Jamaican beef patty, and their fresh orange. The total came out to be 18... dollars. She charged me 8 for the B.L.T, which was mostly lettuce, toasted white bread. Jamaican beef patty was 2.50. I paid7.50 for orange juice. Not worth it. Terrible. Best place to eat in Brooklyn so authentic. Takes sometimes longer then expected but the food is prepared as orders go in so... it’s fresh. The price is definitely worth it! Very good authentic Mexican food! And less pretentious than the place on the other edge of the block. I ordered a vegetarian... burrito for $9.75 plus tax. It was large and they cut it in half -- cute! They served two squirt salsas in an ice bucket.They're nice touches, and not what I'd expect from an affordable ethnic place.
