MÉXICO ???????? Eat the World NYC review: Two years ago this address was a windowless bookstore selling Spanish-language... Christian texts, the facade of the small building completely covered in maroon paint. Now under a bright yellow awning, bigwindows let light into a space that since the end of 2017 has been churning out good Mexican food, with a focus on tortas, andhas a space for customers to sit and eat. ° They are open early for breakfast and offer plenty of US and Mexican egg-basedplates as well as an enormous chilaquiles, served at my request with salsa verde and two big slabs of cecina. Two fried eggs anda few slices of avocado top everything and it is served with a side of beans. It took a great effort to finish the wholething. ° As noted in the name, they make excellent tortas here, Mexican sandwiches served on not quite round crusty breadcalled bolillo. This bread is good here, delivered fresh daily I presume from somewhere nearby. On weekends, get freshlyprepared carnitas and delicious tamales. Read more

If you are looking for a place that sells tacos you have got to try this place. It may not look like a place that sells food to... eat from the outside but looks can be deceiving. I've ordered the shrimp tacos and cárnitas tacos and they're delicious. Theyadd other ingredients on top of the tacos that are worth trying. Read more
