I'm told this place has been around for a while... and is on at least it's 2nd owner ...it has total charm. I liked it... the... place just keeps going back further and further with row after row of cool 'secluded type' booth seating ...to a window in theback looking out at a parking lot and 'mod type' tallish building. There is an exit door to the parking lot but I don't know ifit is used a lot. We sat in the back. Lots of room. The whole place is a 'frayed at the edges' / 'lived in' but totallylovable. It is not dirty but 'worn.' It is an 'aged nicely' look like someone would buy at IKEA (a 'distressed' piece offurniture, that is). I should have brought my camera-phone to take pictures... there are 'picture worthy' things. It was asecond night out for me and the extended family ...Mom, her (our) friend and part of the family that were somewhere else forThanksgiving were there (six of us). It was roomy and they were very accommodating at Daisy's ...the waitress was on her gameand attentive. Refills, extras items... good friendly attitude. I ordered 'Cajun Glazed' Chicken... it was tasty, came out onthree plates & a fourth to hold a gravy cup (that I shared with my friend right across from who had a brisket sliced thing onmashed potatoes. "It was a good amount of food" (and could have easily fed me and someone else or be 'take home' as well) Ithink that is the idea here... as I looked at everyone having 'LG Size potions.' Like I said... it's been here a while and thepatrons plus staff are laid back (but not lazy) ...like a comfortable living room (it's the local living room for sure) ...orlike the 'clubhouse' you and your friends had with a bunch of different types of furniture (and a patched hole in a bench seat). I want to stress again that the food was good... large amounts, decent prices ...and the surroundings, charming, cozy... toinclude good service and round the clock hours. No one in my group even mentioned anything that put them o Read more

I really loved this place. Everyone enjoyed their food and it’s reasonably priced. My reuben was delicious. I also personally... liked the music they had on. But really the service was what made it for me, our waitress was so friendly and sweet. If I livedin town, I would definitely be a regular. Highly recommend. Read more

So...don't come here for the decor. But do come here for fresh ingredients and simple diner food. The menu has some odd errors.... The Santa Fe salad ingredients are exactly the same as the other salad right under it with a different name. There wereingredients missing from my Cobb salad and it was not as listed on the menu, and my kid's club salad contained ingredients notlisted on the menu. The burgers are pretty good. Breakfast is always fresh and good. Read more

This dinner is the true New York experience. Look like breakfast all day! The menu is huge so you will definitely find something... you will enjoy even with challenging diets! The server was extremely nice and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and laidback, with art placed throughout the restaurant. Food was super good, especially the milkshakes! Bathroom was a hot mess butthat's my only complaint. Read more

Been coming to Daisy's Diner for a while now but each time we come here it's a hit or miss, definitely not consistent. Service... has always been wonderful, not always with the food. Days the coffee is better than previous, eggs sometimes under cooked, breakfast wraps aren't wrapped properly so they fall apart & one is eating it with a fork. Would be nice to have someconsistency when dining here. If you want a quick inexpensive breakfast then Daisy's Diner works. Read more

Most important part of this dinner is most of the workers are really helpful and friendly. I never had a bad experience here.... Food is okay. Nothing special, but love the nice calm atmosphere even this place is in the middle of Park Slope. Great spot tohangout with your family, friends, and couple (of course by yourself too!!) who need to have simple American food :) Read more
