I have been to Da Francesco Italian Restaurant on Graham Ave in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY several times. The reason I keep going... back, is due to my favorite item on the Menu, Braised Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes. I had read past reviews on thatparticular meal,and everything I read about it is 100 % True...The Braised Short Ribs is so tender, that the meat slides offthe bone. You don't even need a knife to cut it...The meat is so moist and tender and so flavorful...I actually went out on thiscold dreary rainy evening, specifically for the Braised Short Ribs and I was not disappointed. I decided to also order two otheritems, for dinner tomorrow, that I have never had there before. I ordered the Lentil Soup as it was one of the Specials today.When I got home, I took a spoonful of it, to sample it, and it was actually delicious. I am a Veteran of the US Army, and acooking school grad.....retired from the Port Authority of NY and NJ, worked at the cafeteria in 4 different work sites. Ispecialized in soups, and food preps, plus working as short order cook on the grill. I know my soups and that lentil soup gets a10 in my book. I also ordered Chicken Parm with Linguine on the side , and must say that it looks really good. Whenever inWilliamsburg , Brooklyn NY, on Graham Ave you should make it a point to check them out. They are open until 10 PM on weekdaysand until 11 PM on weekends....By the way the staff is super here, the servers Roberto, Jorge and Javier are so courteous, sopolite, attentive to detail, and always focused on their customers and always do a professional job. I met Mr Francesco, theowner of the restaurant and must say he is a down to earth person,so humble and a gentleman. Read more
Quaint…. It was a Sunday so I assumed it would be a relaxed environment. I read many reviews, mostly good. This was a Groupon... gift. So I had my reservations…. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. They were attentive and patient. Theestablishment was clean and organized and when we ordered our food it came out quick and hot and fresh. Everyone has theirtweeks but overall I can’t complain about much. Expect the ice water needed more ice…. They were courteous andattentive! We had the short ribs and they were so tender and falling off the bone. I also have to mention the bartender thatmade our drinks deserves a 5 star ?? rating alone! Never once have I ever not been able to finish my drink! I had the Manhattanand it was superb! We've been going here for years. Haven't been since before CoViD19. Francesco chef owner greeted me like I was there yesterday!... Great guy! Decor is magnificent, our Soprano aficionado from Ireland was really impressed. Roberto treated us like the royaltywe are. LOL Great service. The food? OMG! Just as years ago exquisite. The appetizers were so good and prepared exactly as wespecially ordered. My GF had the short ribs again and was just as satisfying as the first and second times (she really has totry something else). One of the Irish lasses had to try the Margherita pizza and when it came out she said she would never beable to finish it. Well she only left one small slice she enjoyed it so much. The other Irish lass wanted to try ravioli butwanted it in the vodka sauce my GF recommended and was easily accommodated. I had the lobster spaghetti special - out of thisworld! I can't wait to get back to Da Francesco. Worth a trip from Staten Island. Read more

The branzino fish is WOW! Never lets me down. It’s seasoned and prepared perfectly without comprising the taste or texture.... Same for the veggies and potatoes. The resturant itself is pretty, calming, unique. Complete transition from the busy streetoutside - once inside it’s a serene relaxing setting. The dessert is yummy too! Just super delicious. We ordered 8 dishes (lasagna, beef rib, lamb shank, lobster ravioli, pistachio encrusted flounder,... calamari & linguininwith clams) We ate everything and wanted more. Will return for sure, fantastic restaurant. Read more
The service was great although the food was hit or miss on some dishes. Calamari was great but the flounder was not very... flavorful. The chicken was very good, the penne vodka was nothing special but still good. The tomato gnocchi was well liked.Tiramisu was also nothing special with the crème bulee being not very good! Read more
The food was delicious and the wine but service wasn't good at all, they were empty and still had issues to bring the food, or... explain their services. Also if you use pulsd promotion, this is not the best one option, they try to say you can only use 1promotion for table so if you guys are a group of 4 or 6 you will need to split your group on 2 to 3 tables, haha, never heardthis one before.
