Lovely place, good food! Had a latte, lox toast and a papaya shake. The latte and lox toast was seriously tasty!! The papaya... shake did not do it for me though, I prefer sweeter drinks. But I'm sure they have other shakes you'll love! Totally go for it:) Read more

Quirky laid back cafe, minutes walk from Barclays Center. When we got there we were told that the wait will be 30 minutes while... it ended up to be 5 minutes (since we biked all the way from queens, we waited). We got two bowls - 1. Umami bowl- Roastedgolden potatoes and shiitake mushrooms topped with Companion kimchi, avocado, goat cheese, lemon crema, organic micro greens &hemp seeds with egg. 2. Sumöku Samon Salad- Dressed and tossed organic salad greens topped with sliced Acme lox, Companionkimchi, lemon crema, avocado, organic micro greens & hemp seeds. Both bowls were incredible . They were fresh and a lot offlavors in one bowl. I also got the Date Shake (Espresso, Companion nut butter, medjool dates, cinnamon, oat milk)- which Iloved and I thought it was brilliant . The only disappointing part on our visit was the VERY lack of flexibility in their foodmaking. While I understand that some chefs and cooks don?t like to modify their food, our request was very basic and simple; wewanted to have the goat cheese of the umami bowl on a side plate or not to mix it in the bowl (since my friend doesn?t like goatcheese and we were sharing)- but they were not willing to accommodate it (no reason was given besides, we don?t do that). Whenwe ask if we can add salmon to our other plate (even on the side for extra $$, we were told that they can?t accommodate iteither). Read more

Beautiful decor and a very intimate simple and tasteful space with nice simple easy delicious ???? food. Small so you may have... to wait to eat inside. There are tables outside so I'm sure in the summer will be nice to sit out side. Very nice music and anice vybz. Cheers From Chef Ken Skylar Read more

Great little place. Note that this is not your typical brunch 'eggs Benedict' place. Food is unusual, but exceptionally good and... tasty in my opinion. We keep coming back every other week. Place is relatively small. Can only fit 4 parties of 2-4 people. Somesitting outside that hopefully will become usable very soon when it gets warmer. Average waiting time for a weekend branch (11am- 1 pm) can be 20-40 min. But it worth it. Read more

This a special, intimate little spot. It was a two-person operation for breakfast and they had it nailed down. The food was... delicious?I had the breakfast bowl with eggs, yams, onion tomatoes etc. and my friend had the mushroom toast. Both dishes wereexcellent and we could tell how much care went into making them. The table area is very small (perhaps room for three 2-topsand a small bar counter). We came in with a stroller and wouldn?t have had anywhere to sit, but luckily two kind folks at atable volunteered to move to another so we could fit. Something to keep in mind if you have a larger party. The space waseclectic and full of character. I really enjoyed this place and would love to come back and try more menu items, as well asvisit in the evening for a cocktail. Read more

What an amazing breakfast! This place is tiny and cozy, but we were able to get a seat at the bar, where we could see up close... all the work that was happening in the kitchen. You could tell straight away the owner/chef puts a great amount of care in howhe makes the food. And of course the result comes through clearly in the presentation and taste of the dishes. We had the BuenosDias and Egg/Pesto/Avocado sandwich. Both were filling, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to order the French toast withnut butter. We left very happy and satisfied! Next time we're in Brooklyn, we'll be back for breakfast and also for cocktails(since this place turns into a Hawaiian cocktail bar after 4pm). Read more
