Not sure why Chongkho isn?t one of those everyone knows and loves it ?hidden gem? restaurants. Their food is so good. A visit... to Brooklyn without Chongkho would be incomplete. A visit to Chongkho without their curry puffs would be incomplete. Theircurry puffs are wonderful. Shatteringly crispy and generously filled. The sauce that accompanies is addictive as well. I poureda generous amount of the sauce with each bite of the curry puffs and had a little left over to drink. We also ordered the greencurry which has the most wonderful flavor. I haven?t tried their other curries, but if they?re anything like the green curry,they must be wonderful choices. Go with the green curry if your indecisive! I ended up straight up sipping the the broth becauseit was that good. We ordered the thai salad, but it could honestly be skipped. It?s just raw veggies with peanut sauce whichisn?t bad, just not great. The vegetables themselves were crisp and fresh though! and the fried tofu soaks up the curryperfectly. Quaint, family-run Thai spot - interior was clean and food was great! The workers were very kind. We ordered fried calamari,... shrimp Thai fried rice, beef pad see ew, kana moo krob (crispy pork belly) and Thai iced tea. Tasty selections and goodportions. There's a difference between making a dish, and knowing the exact way ingredients interact during the cooking process. If you... want exquisitely made Thai cuisine that is easily worth twice what they charge for it, then prepare yourselves for a gem'sgem. Tonight, I fully enjoyed Tom kha kai, followed by Drunken noodles with beef. Each dish had been expertly created byskilled hands, and the result was one of the best meals of my life! This is a great little hidden gem! There are a lot of Thai restaurants in this area but I ended up choosing this one on a whim... because it looked interesting and I was not at all disappointed. The food was great. I got the chicken curry puffs, a Thai icedtea, and basil fried rice with chicken, extra spicy. The Thai iced tea is one of the best I've had and the curry puffs and basilfried rice were great too. The fried rice was very spicy and delicious; I found that many other places aren't as spicy - so onlyask for more spice if you're really into spicy food. The service was fantastic as well. The owner was so nice, she must haverefilled my water a dozen times because she saw I was struggling with the spice a little. Very much recommended! You won'tregret going here. Read more

Love this woman owned restaurant ???? I?ve been back twice so far and each dish I?ve tried has had amazingly rich flavors that... remind me of Thailand. For starters, I got the Tom Kha Kai, which was deliciously spicy. So spicy I almost passed out. Butthat?s also because I never eat spicy annnnnnnnnd I?m slightly allergic to peppers soooo? And for the main, I got the Pad KraTiem with chicken. Again deliciously spicy and rich flavor. I usually go for the non-standard dishes and then wander back tostaples like Pad Sea Ew / Pad Thai / Drunken Noodles. Read more
