I had a lamb burger and the patty was very bland, and my girlfriend had the Butcher Breakfast and the steak was also bland. This... was at the expanded restaurant. The portions are great but the meats leave me uninspired due to the meats having no seasoningnot even like salt, so the burgers and steak have no flavor, just cooked meat. Read more
Choice is a Brooklyn establishment! Been around for over 10 yrs and been one of the best cafes in the area. However ever since... pandemic it?s been hit and miss. Their pastries are sometimes good sometimes stale. Today I saw the guy struggling to cut mylemon poppy loaf... I didn?t say anything but maybe they should remove something so stale and hard from the counter! I thinktheir pastry selection is smaller than pre-pandemic but still items sit on the counter for too long in seems. Had similarexperience with my coffee. Please know that this review comes from a place of love as I want to be excited every time I comeinto my cafe not disappointed. As of 11/8/2021, Choice has expanded into an extended restaurant space next to their original popular cafe. They?re now serving... breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Love the romantic new tables behind the flowerrailings! Read more
The new restaurant seating area is really fantastic. I've been coming here forever and they keep improving. Their shrimp and... grits rivals places in NOLA. Seriously... And their service is friendly and professional. A little slow but the vibe is so niceand pretty it's not a big deal. Read more
