Ordered a large delivery order. Missed quite a bit of our order and really destroyed the family dinner. Also left out upcharge... extras that were paid for. Super rude response when my sister called to let them know we were missing food. No offer to doanything. The food was okay. My burrito was completely unmixed. 50% of the length of it had nothing except lettuce, sour cream,and pickled onions. The other side had all the meat and rice. The jalapeños that cost $1 were missing. It?s taking -forever-to complete the order. We know they can deliver fast (they did for the partial order) and have kept us waiting for the missingitems for double the time of the first delivery. An hour later and we?re still waiting. I arrived Calexico at 6:26pm. Put in a take out order. Ordered a Chicken Quesedilla, 2 Chicken Burritos, 2 Chicken Tacos, 1 side... of Salsa Verde, and 1 carne Asada Burrito bowl. The cost was $64. My wait time was 35 minutes. I noticed one customer who camein after me, got his take out order before me by 10 minutes. Manager threw in some complimentary guacamole and tortilla chipsfor free. Dropped in pre- IKEA for some Cinco de Mayo yum time. Cozy spot with the south of border feel. We enjoyed their homemade... Margaritas with floating lime. Brussel sprouts and guacamole + more. The order took an hour to be delivered. Same neighborhood. Food came cold of course and on top of that the chicken was only the... breaded part a little piece of avocado for $6 dollars plus tax and service. Really 6 bucks for a cold tiny taco? Calexico Idon't know what's going on with you guys but you guys are doing things not right. Also I've ordered a ground beef taco that onewas ok but also Cold. Never order food from this place again. Sorry to see you go! Been coming here for seven years. Unfortunately the last five times I?ve come to Calexico over in the last... three months have been consistently garbage. The staff is great. I?m assuming they have changed their recipes to save money? But they?ve lost me as a customer. I always counted on fresh ingredients. Ample guacamole. This is NOT the case anymore.Calexico is basic.
