The ribs are super tender and cooked to perfection. The sauce is a little on the sweet side for my taste, but still good... nonetheless. The chicken, oh yes, utter perfection. Crispy, juicy perfection. Every bite a treat, I was sad it was gone. Thecole slaw was very disappointing, to be honest. Bland and flavorless, I was expecting so much more. I'm from the Midwest wherewe take our slaw seriously (and chicken and waffles), and this just didn't meet my expectations at all. I told the server I didnot like the slaw at all and was disappointed and no apology, nothing was offered. We ordered the asparagus with lemonvinaigrette to displace the disappointment in the slaw, and it could possibly have been the best asparagus side dish I've everhad. I took away two stars because my dislike of the slaw wasn't even acknowledged. I still recommended this place, just don'tget the slaw. Read more

Great food and coffee! They do serve lattes, espresso, etc. (Not on menu). The Mocha Latte was great! The short rib hash is... super meaty, hardly any potatoes, so you might want to also order Fries or Hash Browns. The Pecan French Toast is tasty. So farit's my favorite nonconventional French Toast. Food was amazing, we had the buttermilk biscuits, roasted mush, spinach and goat cheese scramble. French toast, hash browns,... smoked bacon and mimosa. We had outside seating. Bill came up to $81.65 before tip. Definitely a place I would visit again. Read more

Nice little spot, very bright and is definitely a nice vibe. The servers are professional and have a neat appearance. The food... was good...I want to say great though!!! Just wasn't that impressed but I will give it another go. The egg in the bowl is wateryand no seasoning whatsoever. My French toast bread was a bit too hard. The drinks are ok, nothing stood out to me. Niceselection on the menu though. Read more

Buttermilk channel was an absolutely fantastic brunch. It’s now a favorite and I’ll be going back again and again. Their... menu has a variety of items, including some that are more lunch than brunch. Their Bloody Mary is yummy and full of horseradish. The fried chicken sandwich is absolutely massive— it’s a knife and fork situation for sure. The slaw on it is a perfectcompliment to the fried chicken, which has a wonderful crust and is moist and delicious. The side of mustard aioli is yummy andI recommend adding it every other bite. The shoestring fries were crunchy and there were plenty to share. The short rib hash wasalso great. Also, I didn’t try it but the French toast looks so amazing (and huge) that I hope someone will share it with methe next time I go! Definitely check this place out, it’s worth it! Read more

Great atmosphere, service, and delicious food! My daughter and I were in the area and decided to try this restaurant. It was... dinner time when we arrived. Not crowded at the time but got increasingly crowded by time we left. Perfect timing for us! Werecommend The Fair Harbor and The Honeysuckle Rose (from the bar and made by Eric). The crab cake was actually pretty good! Aswas the Buttermilk Fried Chicken which was served with cheddar waffles & Savoy cabbage slaw and Burger. The fries could’vebeen better but overall, the food was great! Server Anna was very gracious and attentive. She’d often check-in to make surewe were pleased. We will absolutely return and glad to have selected this awesome place! You can tell a lot of thought wentinto the ambiance! Thank you again Anna and Eric. Hope to see you soon!???? Read more

Our many visits to Buttermilk Channel have never been anything but exceptional. Cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and service are... always top notch. Started the dinner off with an Old Gal cocktail, very nice if you like boozy drinks. Also had the ChickenLiver Mousse, it's so frickin' tasty. The Fried Chicken is obviously the main event(deservedly) when it comes to entrees but ona recent visit, I tried the Duck Meatloaf. I'm not usually a meatloaf guy but it was so good it made me wanna cuss. Seriously,it's so rich and tender, quite excellent. Lastly, our waitress was outstanding. Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Tosum up, go to here. Read more

Fantastic brunch! We made a reservation so the wait was pretty fast. Like most restaurants in NYC, the place is small but the... layout doesnt make you feel like you're on top of the next table which is great. Bar has tons of variety and they make goodcocktails. It was super busy so we didn't get a ton of attention but we still got pretty good service. I ordered the EggsHuntington which is their fancy name for Eggs Benedict. It was phenomenal. The poached egg was cooked perfectly and it sat on adelicious buttermilk biscuit. We also split an order of pancakes which melt in your mouth. I literally wanted to lick the platethey were so good. I was totally satisfied and would definitely recommend for weekend brunch. I will definitely go back to trythe dinner menu. Read more
