Tried to buy 3 vegan tacos yesterday. The person who works there couldn?t sell the food to me. She started playing around as if... I?m doing something wrong but in reality she doesn?t knows how to operate the store. Going to this store for almost 9 years, allof the sudden she acts like something is wrong with me. These guys will rip you off, give your money to a better business. I ordered $25 worth of food from Bushwick Pita Palace via... Seamless, and tipped $5 to my driver. The food did not arrive during the delivery window, so I called the restaurant. Thecashier told me the driver was 2 minutes away and asked me to wait. After waiting for 20 minutes I called back, again he askedthat I wait. Finally after an additional 15-20 minutes, 2 hours after I placed the order, I called asking for a refund. I wastold that I'd receive the refund in the morning. Sure enough, the refund was never granted to me. Calling the restaurant theytold me the food was taken by someone, and insinuated that I was being dishonest. I live in a small building, and myinstructions were very clear to ring my doorbell. I've ordered food through Seamless many times and never had these issues. Therestaurant refused to do anything to make it right, refunding me my $30 or giving me a credit for a future meal would have keptme from writing this post. Read more
Food was pretty good! I only wish they asked you what you want in your salad like other halal places instead of putting... everything on there. The vegan chicken itself was good but there was a lot of moisture in the salad and the bottom was like asoup. Chicken over rice was PACKED full with rice, salad, chicken, hummus, and tzatziki. The vegan fajitas platter is the best out there. Cheap food, vegan and meat options and open late.
