Cute design and comfortable seating. We ordered the Seaweed salad, pork gyoza, miso black cod and a bunch of rolls. Overall... everything was of great quality and taste. The miso black cos could have used some more sauce though. Would definitely go back. Read more
Treated myself to takeout sushi after a double serving shift . Omg . ???? I really love the quality of this sushi. I can’t go... anywhere else. Obviously can’t eat like this on the daily so when I do .. it is very much a treat. :) Salmon isn’t chewy(blehhhhhhh!!!!) and ISNT grey. It’s the right color and consistency (melts in ur mouth). Sushi Small - 8/10 Despite being full off of tacos, the boiis mochi cookies and yi fang tea, the minute I ate some sushi I... wanted more. The fish was very fresh and had the perfect fish to rice ratio! Matcha Tiramisu - 7/10 I did enjoy the matchatiramisu but wished the “lady fingers” were soaked in matcha latte. The banana puree that came on the side matched thematcha tiramisu surprisingly well. Read more
I was pretty impressed with this Bushwick sushi spot! Their interior is absolutely beautiful and their service is great. Their... fish isn’t like WOW but I thought it was pretty fresh - it also helps that they’re quite affordable for a Japanese sushiplace. I would go back again! Read more
One of my favorite sushi spots in Brooklyn. Underrated. Incredibly authentic. Upscale dishes in an unassuming atmosphere.... You’ll find one of a kind specials here that are hard to find anywhere else. We ordered both specials on the menu. I can’ttell you what the sushi was but it was amazing. The other special was the dobi mushi, similar to a chawanmushi but instead of acustard it’s a broth with a mixture of exotic seafood and mushrooms. The broth is clear and fragrant. The seafood was freshand perfectly cooked. Also this is the first time I’ve had fresh ikura. If you ever get a chance, I would highly recommend it.Most ikura you find in restaurants come frozen and processed. This was a special dinner so we went all out but no regrets it’sone of the best meals I’ve had all year. Read more
fantastic sushi— the fish is so fresh and the rolls are delicious. great for groups or date night, the service here is super... friendly and very fast! we loved the yellowtail scallion handroll and spider roll. docked a star because the rolls are a bitsmall relative to the price point. nevertheless, this spot was fantastic!
