Came here for my daughters birthday with her boyfriend and herself and it was spectacular! The food was beyond compare and the... service was unbelievable! Our waiter, Brian, was so informative and directed us to how much food we needed to order and to whatthe best meals were. He was correct on every level. Still trying to decide whether the food or the waiter was the best part ofdinner! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt very special and the food was spectacular! Read more

Let me preface this by saying the food is a 10/5 but the staff and way my partner and I were treated was lacking. I made a... reservation and a couple that walked in with no reservation ended up with the other half of our table that they split, and hadus sit incredibly close to. This couple was mid 30s normal dressed, I am in a mixed race relationship late 20s we have piercingsand tattoos. Whatever was perceived, this couple that came in was checked on 3+ times while we never were. Empty water, emptywine glasses, and we weren?t asked if we needed a refill until after we stacked our plates showing we were done eating. Weweren?t asked once after getting our food if all was well with our food. Absolutely ZERO attention was given to us besides ahello and goodbye. It was disheartening when it seemed like everyone else was being treated like gold. Order takeout if you?reanything besides the ?norm?. Read more

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT. Must make reservations in advance otherwise try walk-ins on Sundays when they open at 2pm. The hype is... real. Their pan fried meatballs with mozzarella and ricotta is so delicious with the tomato sauce. We literally finishedeverything with the help of their soft bread with sesame seed on top. We got their specialty of the day- Pork Chop Parm. It wasmy first time having pork chop parm and it was so moist juicy and so flavorful. We totally couldn't finished and had to take ithome, which turned out well bc we added spaghetti and made it into a lunch the next day. Everything was such large portions forthe price. I'm definitely coming back with family to share more food together. The food was so good, we kept eating andlaughing. Such great times in this place. Compliments to the chef and all the staffs for a fantastic meal! Read more

I?ve heard very good things about Brooklyn Roots, especially from my neighbor who religiously frequents the place on a weekly... basis. We decided to try them because we had extended family visiting, so we made reservations, and so glad we did. We arrived15 mins early and had to wait by the entrance? some reviews are accurate when they say tables are reserved; the place had oneopening for 4 when we arrived. The waiting area was a bit inconvenient with the enter/exit traffic because the door is locatedin close proximity to the bar, which was also crowded, at one point there were 14 people in one small area. We were seated 10mins after our designated arrival time, and glad to be seated at the back, because the acoustics back there allowed us to haveconversations without straining. Was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the glassware. At one point, we noticed lipstickon the glass of the Filthy Martini we ordered, and no one at our table was wearing lipstick. My fork had a shredded black pieceof plastic (as if it was used to rip open a black plastic bag). My hot water with lemon cup wasn?t clean either. Seems likewashing is not a priority. Our appetizers were good. The sizes of the entrées justify the prices. They need to update the menuwith Spaghetti All?Amatriciani, because it can be made bianco (without tomato sauce). The service was on point, and thewait-staff were attentive. Read more
