Had a great meal at Bar Bete. We were able to sit outside on the gorgeous September evening. We started with the tuna toast and... crispy duck fat potatoes. Both were excellent! Then for main course had the rabbit & lobster sausage and the grilledmackerel. Highly recommend all of the dishes that we had. Read more

I’ve been meaning to try out Bar Bête for a while now and I’m so happy I finally made a reservation to go! It’s... definitely important to order everything in the beginning so try to take a look at the menu beforehand. Between 2 people, we got5 of the smaller dishes (we didn’t get one of the larger protein dishes) and I think we would’ve been better with 4! Theduck fat potatoes were heavenly!! Something I appreciate so much about this place is that they are not shy in serving theirdishes with sauce. The garlic aoili for the potatoes came in the same size bowl! We had an excellent dinner here: the clam soup was fabulous as were the duck and gnocchi entrees. We enjoyed the yellow cake... (with an inch of perfect chocolate frosting) and rice pudding for dessert. The staff is very attentive and the ambiance here iswonderful. Read more
There are lots of thoughts in every single dish! The chicken liver parfait came with pistachio butter and rhubarb jam. It tasted... ridiculously great on a sourdough, which made us keep asking for more bread. Tokyo salad was a mix of radish and turnip, toppedwith some anchovies, what a combo! We also enjoyed the poached scallops with snap peas, sweet and also spicy. A few small dishesfed us quite well and we even didn’t get a chance to order entrees. Everything was delicious and fresh. Menu had great variety and enough options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Small cocktail menu... but they'll make you something if it's not listed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great date spot. Will go back! Read more
